Naomi Ross
Naomi Ross is a kosher recipe developer, cooking instructor, and cookbook author. She has been teaching cooking for the past 19 years and has developed innovative culinary curriculums, courses, and workshops for camps, schools, and community organizations. Naomi is a regular contributor to various magazines such as Fleishigs, Binah, OU Jewish Action, and Kosher.com. She has also founded Kosher Cooking Concepts in 2003, a course that combines training in cooking and baking basics with kitchen management skills, such as menu planning and Shabbat preparation, with a focus on inspiration. Naomi lives in Woodmere, NY with her husband and four children, she has a BA in Music from Queens College, and she is excited to debut her first cookbook, The Giving Table, in December 2022.
Naomi has had a relationship with Masbia for quite some time. She has volunteered with Masbia’s head chef Ruben Diaz, taken part in food rescues at the Union Square Greenmarket, cooked hundreds of meals during COVID, shared her recipes when needed, and often helped with fundraising.
